The world's most magical celebration will begin on October 1 in honor of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida!
Over the past few days, the Magic Creators - Voyages Synergia team has learned a little more about the celebrations and news surrounding the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort, the most festive celebration of the past 50 years!
A new word has even appeared for these celebrations to best describe what guests will experience when they visit Walt Disney World starting October 1: "EARidescence". (Iridescence: Optical phenomenon whereby a surface changes color depending on the angle from which it is viewed). The entire Disney team has also set to work to create new decorations that will shine brightly day and night.
New experiences will also be available in the 4 theme parks:
At Magic Kingdom, Cinderella Castle will be adorned with a golden banner to celebrate its 50th anniversary in an even more festive way! At night, pixie dust will transform it to be even more magical! A new nighttime show, "Disney Enchantment" will also light up your evenings!
At Epcot, brand new lights will shine on
Spaceship Earth to evoke the stars in the night sky. Additionally, October 1 we will be able to attend the opening of the brand new attraction "Remy's
Ratatouille Adventure" at the Pavillon de la France. On the same date, the brand new show by
"Harmonious" evening will make its grand premiere.
At Animal Kingdom, magical fireflies will light up the "Tree of Life". A new show, "Disney Kite Tails", will also take flight during the day, the kites and windcatchers will flutter to the sound of the music of Disney. Special keys will be made to Hollywood Studios' Hollywood Tower Hotel.
Also, in the 4 parks, 50 character sculptures melted in gold, Disney Fab 50, will be waiting for you to discover them during “The World's most magical celebration“.
Finally, Mickey and Minnie will be dressed in all new sparkling costumes for this magical celebration!
