Shows and entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort

Several unmissable shows will liven up your days in the Disney parks! Although some are still on momentary hiatus, most of the great entertainment is back for the enjoyment of visitors. Here you'll find some of everyone's most beloved shows, but don't hesitate to chat with your Creator of Magic to plan your itinerary so you don't miss out on the entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, a must see Beauty and the Beast - Live on stage. Discover this magnificent “broadway” style music version of Beauty and the Beast. The sets, the colorful costumes, the song and the dance; this open-air show will make you discover or rediscover this beautiful story! For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration will transport you to the Frozen movie universe with stories, jokes and songs. Plus, as the song lyrics are projected on the front of the theater, you can sing along with Anna and Elsa "Let it Go"! Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy stars the legendary Lightning McQueen and his friends in a comedy show where you will learn everything it takes to become the best driver! Wonderful World of Animation is the new nighttime show, a 90-year journey into the Disney universe. The front of the Chinease Theater lights up with screenings and entertainment for a magical homage to the Disney and Pixar films. And starting October 1, the park’s landmark, the Hollywood Tower Hotel, lights up every night to celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary! The Fantasmic evening show, meanwhile, is still on an indefinite hiatus with no return date at this time.

At Epcot, starting October 1, 2021, you'll discover the colorful new Harmonious show where Disney music and stories bring people from all walks of life together. The biggest nighttime show ever for a Disney park reinvents Disney classics and the music will be performed by 240 artists from around the world. This show at the World Showcase Lagoon will feature giant floating screens, water fountains, lights, pyrotechnics and lasers, to provide an innovative show! During the day, don't miss Voices of Liberty at the America Gardens Theater, where the a capella group's vocal performances celebrate the beauties of America. At the Canada Mills Stage, come and applaud some of Canada's finest folk groups in an exhilarating performance. Also, each pavilion of the World ShowCase presents typical shows as well as entertainment for the whole family. Not to mention the special shows for events like the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival or the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, don't miss A Celebration of Festival of The Lion King, a broadway-style show that blends circus, songs and puppets in a particularly thrilling show inspired by the movie The Lion King. Join Simba and his friends and sing along to “Hakuna Matata” and “Can you Feel the Love Tonight”, not to mention Circle of Life. Winged Encounters - The Kingdom Takes Flight features magnificent South American Macaws soaring to the skies, very close to the Tree of Life. Birds of all colors soar above Discovery Island while bird care experts can answer all your questions. And if you want to learn more about the birds in the park, don't hesitate to visit Caravan Stage to learn about the care and training of these animals. Starting October 1, as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations, Disney Kite Tails will feature your favorite Disney characters taking to the skies for a new performance where kites and wind catchers dance to the sounds of song Disney classics. The Tree of Life will also be lit up for the 50th anniversary celebrations and be sure to admire all its magic. The musical Finding Nemo will also be back in a few months in a brand new version.

At Magic Kingdom Park, discover from October 1 the new night show that has been designed to transport you to a world of magic! Disney Enchantment will feature Disney music, Cinderella Castle lighting, fireworks and immersive screenings across Main Street U.S.A. An impressive show to celebrate Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary in style! In the evening, Cinderella Castle will also be illuminated with fairy dust to provide a magnificent spectacle for visitors. Without forgetting during the day the numerous cavalcades of characters and princesses and the show of Dapper Dans, this “a capella” quartet which sings in harmony the great American classics.

Finally, from November 18, 2021, Cirque du Soleil will present its most recent show at Disney Springs. Drawn to Life is described as a love letter to the art of Disney animation and brings together all the magic of Cirque du Soleil and Disney in a celebration of life.
