Travel to Mazatlan

MAZATLAN

In the south of the Mexican state of Sinalo is the port city of Mazatlan. It's warm Pacific climate offers an average temperature of 25°C. Aptly known as the Pearl of the Pacific, it has beaches nestled between beautiful landscapes and a wealth of marine life and vegetation. The old town is as interesting to visit as the world's second greatest natural lighthouse at Mount Creston. Don't hesitate any longer before booking your ticket for a journey to Mazatlan – a good time guaranteed!

It combines the traditional architecture of the city centre, called Old Mazatlan (where you can admire the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and browse the beautiful streets lined with nineteenth-century buildings), with the restaurants and modern hotels of its spectacular Golden Zone. The latter has more than 10 km of beautiful beaches, such as Playa Norte, Playa Gaviotas, and Playa Venados, perfect for surfing, diving, and sport fishing for marlin and sailfish. You'll also discover amazing natural resources, such as Mount Creston, where you can enjoy some climbing in the context of ecotourism.

At the top of Mount Creston is a lighthouse considered the world's second natural lighthouse, after the Rock of Gibraltar. There are also splendid golf courses overlooking the sea and two marinas for docking and repairing all types of boats. A number of cultural and sporting events are held in the port: the International “Jesus Arnoldo Millan” Golf Tournament, a tournament on the International Tennis Federation circuit, the Mazatlán Cultural Festival, the Book Fair and Arts of Mazatlán, not to mention the International Carnival of Mazatlán, one of the most famous in the world, which takes place during the last week of February. During the Carnival, you can dance in the streets to the beat of the bass drum and enjoy the joyous parade of floats that wind through the squares and avenues of the port until dawn.
