Travel Orlando

Planning a trip or a vacation to Orlando in the near future? You certainly will not be disappointed! Indeed, Orlando is the seat of government of Orange County, the fifth most populous county in the state of Florida. Orlando is the third largest city in the state of Florida, after Miami and Tampa. It is full of tourist attractions of all kinds that will definitely make your Orlando holiday memorable, with whomever you choose to spend it!

The City of Orlando

In Orange County in the heart of Florida, this city of a thousand colours and faces has all it takes to make sure you enjoy a dream vacation in Orlando.

Whether you are attracted to golf, rides, restaurants, nightclubs, or shopping, you will love Orlando, a dynamic and vibrant city that has experienced phenomenal economic growth in recent years. Here are some attractions not to miss during your next Orlando vacation with friends, family, or your sweetheart.

Walt Disney World and Other Theme Parks

The suggestion of a trip to Orlando immediately brings to mind Walt Disney's famous mascots: Mickey Mouse and his girlfriend Minnie. And indeed, Walt Disney World is the most popular tourist attraction in the Orlando area.

With its many rides, swimming pools, water slides, shows, spectacular monuments, and mascots representing the many characters in the films of Walt Disney, we hardly need to say that Walt Disney World, in the city of Lake Buena Vista to the southwest of Orlando, will leave you with myriad unforgettable memories of your next Orlando vacation.

In addition to Walt Disney World, which also offers a wide selection of hotel complexes for families and couples, Orlando has other parks that are worth the trip.

For instance, Universal Orlando Resort is a theme park where you can, among other things, visit locations where Universal Studios films are shot. SeaWorld is another theme park where you can play on the rides and admire shows featuring exotic marine animals, such as the manatee, dolphin, and alligator. A section of the park is dedicated to the small village of Key West in southern Florida.

A little farther away, don't miss the famous Wet 'n Wild water park, which will douse you with memories of your trip to Orlando.

Just these parks attract millions of visitors each year and are among the most spectacular and busiest parks in the world, so if you are planning a trip to Orlando, a visit to these attractions has to be on the top of your list.

A Golfer's Paradise

Beyond the theme parks, the words “Travel Orlando” are synonymous with “Golfing Paradise.” In fact, whether you are an amateur, intermediate, or experienced golfer, whether you want to play for fun or to practice for your next tournament, you will love Orlando because there is no shortage of golf courses surrounded palm trees.

And since most of the time, the weather is nice and warm in Orlando, this is the perfect place to get out the clubs and play a round of golf with friends or family!

Shops, Outlets, and Restaurants

In addition to golf courses and amusement parks, people vacation in Orlando to shop in its many stores and eat in some of the best restaurants in the world. There is something for every taste and to suit every budget.

As for the shops and shopping malls, the Orlando area is renowned for the quality and variety of its stores, including his famous “outlets” that are found everywhere in the city. The Orlando Premium Outlets located on International Drive and Vineland Avenue in the village of Lake Buena Vista are undoubtedly not to be missed.

Orlando's Nightlife

Night owls and party animals will also find their niche during their vacation in Orlando, which is recognized for the quality of its clubs, pubs, and nightclubs. In the centre of the city, at sunset, the town becomes especially vibrant. So when the children go to sleep, adults can enjoy themselves to their heart's contentat a good comedy show, a concert, a Cirque du Soleil or Blue Man Group spectacle, to name but a few. You might even go dancing until the wee hours in one of many options.

Art and Culture in Orlando

As for art and culture, they are ubiquitous in the city of Orlando. Fans of both disciplines certainly will enjoy visiting art museums all around the city featuring the works of local and foreign artists, seeing a Shakespearean play, or attending the Florida Film Festival, dedicated to independent films.

Our Favourites

Some other must-see's that are among our favourites when talking about a vacation in Orlando, there is going to see the city's NBA team, Orlando Magic, play a game of basketball at the Amway Center, observe the wild animals at Gatorland, a world renowned park, particularly famous for its alligator shows.

Alligator capital of the world, Gatorland has, among other things, dozens of alligators, but also snakes, reptiles, and all kinds of birds such as the pink flamingo, the state bird of Florida.

The only thing missing in Orlando is the ocean itself, but if you hear it calling you and you have a car, you can always drive to the east coast and stop off along the way at the Cape Canaveral space station or to the west coast for a swim in one of the most beautiful beaches of all the United States: the Siesta Key in the city of Sarasota.

In short, an endless sea of possibilities awaits you on your next trip to Orlando.
